MMG Education are leaders in tailored school stakeholder research and performance benchmarking. We provide a range of stakeholder specific/topic specific research for schools providing research informed information across key areas. Our Specialty School Reviews include:
Student Performance Segmentation Model
MMG’s Student Performance Segmentation Model is a highly effective tool that assists schools in understanding how students at different levels of academic performance experience school life.
Using academic performance data supplied by the school, MMG segments a selected student Year group of interest into four performance groups.
Each group is then profiled against existing MMG student research results, allowing schools to compare key aspects of school life across lower, middle and higher-performing students.
The analysis may include areas such as:
- Overall Satisfaction
- Academic Program and Quality of Teaching
- Student Pastoral Care / Student Wellbeing
- Bullying
- Self-Determination Theory: Autonomy, Relatedness and Competence
- Values or Religious Education
- Co-curricular Activities
By linking academic performance with student satisfaction/experience data, the model provides schools with clear, evidence-based insights to identify priority groups to develop targeted intervention and support strategies.
Outdoor Education / Experiential Learning
MMG’s Outdoor Education and Experiential Learning Research Model provides schools with robust, evidence-based insights from parents, students and staff into the effectiveness and impact of specialist outdoor education and experiential learning programs.
Using tailored stakeholder surveys and a longitudinal research design, the model examines participant experiences across key areas such as program satisfaction, expectations, preparation, communication, teaching and learning, student wellbeing, facilities and resources.
In addition to measuring participants’ experiences, the research evaluates changes in key student outcomes, including interpersonal skills, connectedness, emotional wellbeing, resilience, life effectiveness and psychological development. Through pre-program, post-program and follow-up measures, schools are able to assess both the immediate and longer-term impact of their programs.
The model establishes baseline performance measures, supports ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement, and builds a strong evidence base over time through the accumulation of data across cohorts, timepoints and measures. This enables more reliable assessment of program impact, sustained outcomes and potential longer-term developmental benefits.
