Staff Psychosocial Hazards Review
The MMG Psychosocial Hazards model has been developed following a close analysis of the Work Health and Safety (Managing Psychosocial Hazards at Work) Code of Practice 2024.
Why engage in Exit & Experience Reviews?
Employers have responsibilities under WHS laws to adequately manage psychosocial hazards in the workplace. The main purpose of the staff psychosocial hazards dashboard is to provide a summary of staff’s views on aspects relating to the hazards. It allows for the utilisation of benchmarking for existing MMG questions and also allows for tracking of performance progress. Please note that this model is one of many tools to help you identify psychosocial hazards in your workplace and it does not cover all steps of the hazard management process. As noted in the Code of Practice, having this survey conducted assists in fulfilling the first of four steps in the hazard management process “Identify hazards”.
Major benefits
The unique feature of the MMG Psychosocial Hazards model is its flexibility in that it can be embedded into the MMG staff model (see page 10) or can be run as a stand-alone instrument.
